I Love General Conference
Best weekend of the year. Here are some of my favorite quotes:)
Germanyyy
A couple weeks after I went to South Korea and Japan, I got another awesome experience to travel to GERMANY! It has been so neat to travel around the world and see so much! I am definitely so blessed. It was another short trip, but we still got to pack a lot in! Thursday night we flew in to Frankfort and stayed with the some friends that used to live by us and moved here a couple years ago. It was so fun to catch up!
We went over the famous Rhein river to a supes cool castle. Castle were ALL over the place in Germany!
Since we had a red-eye flight we went back home and woke up early the next day. Below we are in front of a church, buildings that looked like this were everywhere!
The first place we went to was this little town that was SO CUTE. So authentic and different from any other place I've been to. We had lunch here too, all the food we ate in Germany was SO yummy.

Here is a famous memorial where the Rhein river and the Mosel river met.
Just another cute little town:)
The BEST gelato in the world. No joke.
Another awesomeee castle!
Hello MTV welcome to my crib. lololol
My knight in shining armor<3 hahah
MORE castles! Seriously though they were way cool I wish I could've seen even more.
Pretty views.
Biggest barrel IN THE WORLD haha
One of my favorite places ever! So different and cute and quaint. I just loved it. It's been real Germany.

SOUTH KOREA & JAPAN!!
A couple of weeks ago, I had an AMAZING experience to travel to Seoul, South Korea and Tokyo, Japan. It was a short trip but we packed sooo much in! Because of the free flights I get on standby (thanks Chelsea!!), it was a pretty spontaneous. In a matter of fact, the day we left for the airport, we still hadn't decided if we should go there of Maui! We barely made in on the flight, and even though it was like 11 hours squished in a tiny little seat, it was wayyyy worth it. My dad and I got to Seoul Friday late at night and rode on the subway to our hotel. Seoul is so modern and nice, this was just the airport!
They have an awesome subway station that takes you pretty much anywhere, we practically mastered it by the time we left! Since we were jetlag-y we stayed up and explored a little. SO cool!
The next morning we woke up early and really had no idea what we were going to do. Luckily there were a TON of options. The first thing we did was visit the Gyneogbok Palace. Seriously so awesome. There were middle school girls giving free English tours that taught us a lot about the palace and the culture of Korea.
We also visited this other palace where we got to see the guards change out with other guards. Sounds pretty boring but actually they do this whole ceremony type thing and a bunch of people stop by to watch and they have a bunch of people in elaborate costumes and stuff, they make a pretty big deal out of it haha.
We took a trolley up to a point way high up where you could see the whole city. Its my dream to live up high like that, I looove overlooking cities. They also had a huge fence with no joke like a million locks on it. So neat.
Then we went through a giant art museum. Museums aren't normally my favorite thing to do, but this one was so much cooler than I thought it was going to be. It had soo much stuff to look at.
Apparently there's some river walk thing that famous too, so we went there as well. It was in the middle of the city, but it went like 15 feet under the ground so it was really quite and peaceful.
PS I got this jacket I wearing in the picture above for $2 here too! Scoreee.
We spent the night again here in South Korea and flew to Tokyo in the morning to meet up with Chelsea and Keith. We went to another ancient palace that night and stayed in a sick circle hotel.
Again since time was so limited we woke up early and hit up a lot of places in Japan! The adventure begins!...
We didn't really have an idea of what we wanted to do or how to get around, so we were running all over the place. Part of the fun though right!? We first stopped by the main residence of the Emperor of Japan. It's hard to see but you can kinda see it in the back!
This is the busiest crosswalk in the world! Around 1 million people cross it per day!
Here is a picture of the view from 45 stories high! Its seriously goes on forever!
We then went to the Meiji Shrine! Awesome!
We finished the day with the Tokyo temple! Perfect ending to a perfect day.
Finally we took the bullet train back to the airport and got the next flight to Denver. Unfortunately I have this thing called school I have to go to haha. Overall, suchhh a cool trip. One in a lifetime experience I will never forget.

Sweater Weather is Better Weather
As sad as it is for summer to be over, I love fall. Especialllllly in Colorado.
I mean who wouldn't love to be surrounded by this everyday? Not only is it gorgeous, but it's probably the best time of the school year as well. And it's filled with
football games! Which we have done sooo good this year! Our record is 10-1
and the haunted mines and corn mazes and carnivals! I wish I had some pictures!
and homecoming! so fun as well:) And along with homecoming
comes spirit weeks! (This was thrift shop day)
and photo shoots. Here's ky bug and the 1st picture was some other pictures I took too.
and starbucks dates, and candy corn, and pie. Yummmmm. Maybe I should post a picture of how much weight I gained. Lol jk;)
And playing around in tractors. Haha.
And SO much more. It's been the best fall of my life:)
Yay for sweater weather.

Kylee
Lately I have absolutely loved photography, and today I got to take some beautiful pictures of my beautiful sister Kylee. She is such a natural!
Her friends tagged along too. Also cutie pies!
I'm still learning, but it's definitely a newly found passion I found! Hopefully Kylee won't get bored of me taking pictures of her because I'm sure I'll be practicing a lot!:)

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!! I kept thinking about how I needed to update my blog and now a little over 1/12 of the year is over! But along with the new year comes resolutions, and one of mine is writing on my blog at least every month! Luckily for me January has 31 days.
I actually love writing goals and New Years may very well just be one of my favorite holidays! Along with writing more often, some of my other goals include:
-No soda! Shout out to my sister who is also doing this one with me. Surprisingly it hasn't even been hard for me yet. Maybe because for every sip I take I have to do 100 push ups! How are you doing with this Chelsea?;)
-Be able to do the splits by the end of the year. Be prepared for a before and after picture in December! Although this one may be a little far fetched considering where I'm at now. We'll see...
- Get straight A's! So far so good. I liked to say thanks to my 3 teachers who have actually put in my grades to infinite campus. And to the other teachers, just take your sweet time! It's not like stay up late every night to do your assignments and turn it in on time because you've given me a deadline. But it's cool. I know you're probably wayyyy busier than me and I don't expect you to have my grades in even though...
I should probably just stop typing:)
-Read 6 books this year. I just finished reading Y: A Holocaust Narrative and get to meet the author on February 13, 2013. I'm so excited! I'm thinking my next book will be "Insurgent" the sequel to "Divergent". I will miss my sister reading it out loud to me though:,(
-Save up enough money to go to Hawaii with my sisters! I guess this is more of a dream than a goal...:)
These are only a few of my goals among my many. The ones worth sharing I guess:) And since January is coming to an end I want to do a recap of this month.
It started out being one of the best New Years ever spending it with the fam up in Denver. The whole winter break was amazing! Come back and visit soon family!
Another one of my highlights was swim season!! Yay! This flew by. I ended with a 1:28 in breaststroke which was 5th in the JV meet! And the medley I was apart of got 7th! So it ended up being a pretty good season for me and I'm actually pretty sad it's over. Though I can't say I don't enjoy all of this free time now:)
I also went up to Utah for my great-grandmothers funeral, or a celebration of her life is what many people called it. I cherish all of the memories I have of her. She was so kind and I am grateful to know that she is happy up in heaven now. We love you grandma Atkinson!
